Doug Gilmour Calls Out Maple Leafs Fans For Burning Jerseys
Toronto Maple Leafs great Doug Gilmour was saddened to see some of Leafs Nation took to the internet to share videos of themselves burning Leafs jerseys after the team was eliminated by the Montreal Canadiens in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Gilmour doesn't even play anymore so he's wondering what his jersey has to do with anything.
Gilmour took to Twitter to remind people there's better decisions to be made, including donating the jersey to charity if you don't want it anymore.
2/2 Please respect the Leafs jersey, and if you don’t want it, donate it to a charity, hospital or someone you know. Charities are desperate to raise money right now and these jerseys can help them if you don’t want them.

Leafs Nation is at a loss for words after another playoff collapse. The franchise hasn't won a playoff series in 17 years and it's obviously weighing on some more than others. Gilmour wants the team to succeed just as much as anyone but he isn't a fan of losing your cool when stuff doesn't go your way. Be better - Mr Gilmour said so.
