Free-Agent Taylor Hall Not Worried About The Money
The Boston Bruins were eliminated by the New York Islanders this week from the Stanley Cup Playoffs and now management has some work to do. This includes negotiating a new contract with free-agent Taylor Hall and on Friday, Hall made it known it's not all about the money.
Taylor Hall on his next contract: "I'm not looking to absolutely maximize value."

He noted that he's made some good money in the league already, and that a "good fit" might be the priority on his new deal.
"You want to find a home for the next few years."
Hall is correct, he's made a ton playing in the show, $52.2 million to be exact according to Cap Friendly. While he may fetch a big annual salary on the open market, Hall wants the best situation possible and by all accounts that could be back with the Bruins. Their management team has done some hard-bargaining and Boston has one of the best financials when it comes to their roster. Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand all make under $6.8 million, so Hall can expect to make less.
Other teams that will be calling Hall's agent are likely to include the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks and LA Kings. As Hall mentions, these teams better get a multi-year offer prepared or else he's not going to be interested.
