[Graphic] Canadiens Paul Byron Left Bloodied While Jets Light the Lamp
The Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets battled it out in Game 3 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs second-round series and this game had a little bit of everything including some stitches.
Canadiens forward Paul Byron was clipped with a high-stick in the second period, and while he was trying to rush to the bench to keep the blood out of his face, the Jets were busy going down the other way and scoring their first goal of the night.
Turns out it was too little too late as the Habs found a way to win Game 3 and take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. With Carey Price playing as well as he is, the Canadiens look like a powerhouse and will certainly bring some noise into the final four teams. As for Byron, he's bringing a new scar with him too:
The Habs will look to close out the series on Monday as the two teams get right back at it for Game 4.
