Rumor: Nashville Predators Listening to Trade Offers on Veteran Forward

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Viktor Arvidsson of the Nashville Predators is a name to watch on the trade market this summer. The Preds appear set to make some changes this summer and the veteran forward could be dealt for some refreshed talent.
Another name I’ve heard: Nashville’s Viktor Arvidsson. Tough, hard-working player. Three years left at $4.25 million. - Elliotte Friedman, 31 Thoughts

The Predators already have just over $18 million available under the salary cap so adding in Arvidsson's money to this, it's obvious Nashville could basically make any type of trade.  The 28-year-old winger recorded 25 points in 50 games and already has been linked to a number of teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs for a potential Zach Hyman replacement, or the Carolina Hurricanes, as they are looking for some help at right-wing.

Arvidsson's work ethic is what makes him attractive to other teams, especially teams that are trying to change the culture. His best season came in 2018-19 when he scored 34 goals in 58 games, so there's proof he has the capabilities to be an impact offensive player. Arvidsson's versatility is one of his best strengths as he's able to play in any role, on either wing. Look for the Predators to mull over some offers at the NHL draft.
