Vegas Head Coach Hints at Marc-Andre Fleury Trade
Vegas Golden Knights head coach Peter DeBoer met with the media on Saturday morning and made one thing clear, next season is a totally different year for his hockey club. More specifically, DeBoer made reference to the fact this season they had a goalie tandem that was a blessing, but it certainly sounds like Marc-Andre Fleury is getting traded. Vegas needs to move salary out and Fleury is their best asset to make it happen.
DeBoer says the goalie tandem with Fleury and Lehner was a blessing this season, and an integral part of their success, but ends with "Next year is a different year" and mentioned they won't be in the unique situation with a condensed schedule again.

Fleury holds no-trade protection and will submit a list of 10-teams he's not interested in playing for. The Golden Knights need centers like crazy and will certainly target some talent for down the middle of their lineup. He's signed for one more season at $7 million.
Teams expected to have serious interest in Fleury include the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes.
