Video: Carey Price Shuts Out Jets With Game 2 Masterpiece

Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens is reminding the NHL he's still an elite goaltender who can single handedly win a team hockey games. Game 2 against the Winnipeg Jets, Price put on a marvelous performance, stopping 30 shots for his eighth career playoff shut out.

The Habs took a 2-0 game lead on the Jets after the victory on Friday night, and Price is liking what he's seeing from the team in front of him:

We’re playing well on both sides of the puck. We’re just making smart decisions and backing each other up all over the ice.

The lone goal of Game 2 came from sniper Tyler Toffoli who scored a short-handed tally 1:41 into the second period. The marker was the only support Price needed as he handled the rest and is looking like his old self that saw him as the best goaltender on the planet.

When the Canadiens make their way back to Montreal as the series shifts, they'll return home to have more fans in the stands as it's expected the club will be hosting another 2,500 people. The Jets were able to host 500 fully vaccinated health-care workers at Bell MTS place for Games 1 and 2. Carey Price doesn't care who's in the building, he just wants to win and is making it look easy lately.
