Video: Shea Theodore's Amazing Shot Fake Leads to Alec Martinez Goal
It was Game 1 of the 'conference finals' between the Vegas Golden Knights and Montreal Canadiens and let's just say Vegas put on a show. Defenseman Shea Theodore is starting to turn it on this postseason and on Monday night he pulled off one of the best shot fakes you will ever see.
The play happened during the second period as the Golden Knights were already up 1-0. With Canadiens netminder Carey Price at his mercy, Theodore faked a shot between the circles and his d-partner Alec Martinez took care of the rest. Price dove and almost got a piece of it. But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
