2 Montreal Canadiens Who Could be Traded this Summer

The Montreal Canadiens were three wins away from hoisting the Stanley Cup and now move ahead to next season with some solid young talent along with a nice veteran mix. Regardless of their makeup there's going to be changes and you can expect to see a trade or two out of general manager Marc Bergevin.

The bold GM is never shy to make big deals and has assembled his current roster through a number of different moves. Here are two players to watch out for when it comes to his next trade:

Jonathan Drouin: The young forward was dealing with some off ice issues this postseason and didn't appear in one game. During the regular season he went through and up and down campaign, recording 23 points in 44 games, but only scored twice. It's obvious something was off and let's hope he can get back on track next season. It just may not be in Montreal.

Draft Picks: Sure, they don't hold a jersey number but let's be real here, Bergevin has nine picks in the first five rounds at the draft and is not going to hold onto all of them. The team is in win-now mode with their veteran core getting up there in age. Expect to see the Canadiens open to moving their multiple second-round and third-round picks.
