2 Possible Landing Spots For Trade Target Vladimir Tarasenko

Vladimir Tarasenko is likely on  his way out of St. Louis. Even though he has a full no-trade clause, he is willing to now join a number of different teams, according to Frank Seravalli. Tarasenko missed a lot of time these past two seasons, but still is a true first-line winger. This will lead to many teams calling the Blues this off-season. He is still only 29-years-old and has two more years left on his deal, so he is more than just a one-year rental.

These two teams could be great destinations for him.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings already acquired Viktor Arvidsson from the Predators, but they still have a lot of cap space. They could use another top-six winger to join their roster, as they have been weak offensively. It is also hard to imagine that a superstar like Tarasenko would be against playing for a huge city like Los Angeles. The Kings are on the rise with their array of top-of-the-line prospects and talented veterans. A trade for Tarasenko would finally make them a playoff team again.

Florida Panthers: The Florida Panthers have a good amount of cap space this off-season, so they should be aggressive in pursuing Tarasenko. After a fantastic season this year, they quickly lost to the Lightning in the first round. To avoid this from occurring next season, they do need another top-six winger. Tarasenko would work quite nicely on a line with Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau. It would immediately become one of the best first lines in the league.
