2 Teams Make Trade Offers for Coyotes' Phil Kessel
The Arizona Coyotes continue to field trade calls on mostly everyone on their roster, and the next to go could be veteran sniper Phil Kessel. Word is the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers are both very active in trade talks and have made offers.
Coyotes should be very active with trades/free agency. Phil Kessel has likely played his last game for Arizona - Vegas and Fla could be where he goes. Washington and Vancouver have some interest in backup goalie Antti Raanta. And Darcy Kuemper is a target of Edmonton and Colorado

Kessel is an interesting trade chip because he's already been paid his signing bonus and is only due $1 million cash during the season. Considering his love for golf and poker, Vegas would certainly be a match made in heaven for Phil the Thrill.
Arizona is currently sitting with five picks in the second round of the 2022 NHL draft and would likely accept another and a prospect in return for Kessel. He can still score with the best of them as he's put up basically 20 goals a season for the past decade. Throw in the two Stanley Cups and some serious playoff production with 81 points in 96 games and he can still get it done. If your team needs help doing the hardest thing in hockey, score goals, they should be interested in acquiring #81. For now, it appears Vegas and Florida are the only ones getting serious.
