2 Teams Who Should Trade For Jakub Voracek

It has been established that the Flyers are looking to trade Jakub Voracek and his large contract. After the way this season went for the team, it is understandable. They could use the extra cap room from trading Voracek to help retool their current lineup. However, Voracek is still a good hockey player and can contribute well offensively. In 53 games games this season, he had an impressive 34 assists to go along with 43 points.

These two teams could benefit from trading for him.

Seattle Kraken

It has been reported that the Kraken are going to be big spenders this off-season. Given the fact that they have a ton of cap space to work with, they can add Voracek with no issue. It would give them a legitimate top-six winger who has a plethora of overall experience. The Kraken also should be open to the idea of having him for three seasons. Although he is 31-years-old, he has yet to slow down to any significant degree. On a brand new team like the Kraken, he could produce even more.

Dallas Stars

Voracek could be a great addition for the Stars. They have the cap space to make it work and need some help with their top-six. He could work perfectly on a line with Tyler Seguin, as the latter is known for his goal scoring ability. The Stars would maybe want the Flyers to take back a little salary, but realistically, that will be the case with any team who trades for Voracek. The Stars simply need more power upfront, and Voracek could be the perfect guy to provide it.
