3 Potential Landing Spots for Keith
Vancouver Canucks: As it stands right now the Canucks only have three defenseman under contract for next season as general manager Jim Benning has some serious work to do. Youngster Quinn Hughes needs a new deal, and so does Alex Edler. Keith's family lives in British Columbia and playing for the Canucks would be a great send off to an decorated career.
Seattle Kraken: Seattle is very close to the Canadian border is most likely being considered as an option for Keith who holds a no-movement clause. The expansion team is going to need a leadership group and Keith, who has won three Stanley Cups would be a perfect candidate. It also doesn't hurt the Kraken will have all new facilities and top-of-the-line everything. The buzz in the city will be wild as well, so could be a great setting to finish his career.
Duncan Keith, potentially headed to Western Canada in a trade, has had a very difficult past few seasons playing big minutes for the Blackhawks. To say the least. #Blackhawks pic.twitter.com/dM1iiRHaet

Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers may be considered a dark horse here, but there's believed to be interest from general manager Ken Holland. The asking price will be a hurdle and so will Keith's $5.53 million salary for the next two seasons. The Blackhawks are going to retain some salary by the sounds of it, and the more money they pay, the better return they will receive. The Oilers could be potentially losing two defenseman and could use Keith's experience, leadership, and work ethic to improve their group.
