Buffalo Sabres Bringing Back Former First-Round Pick
All the way back in 2010, the Buffalo Sabres selected Mark Pysyk with their first-round pick. Since then, he has played for them, the Florida Panthers and the Dallas Stars. Now, the 29-year-old is heading back to Buffalo after signing a one-year, $900,000 contract.
The Sabres are tearing their team down yet again, but have made a few depth signings this off-season. Pysyk is another one that ultimately could be a good one. He is a rare player that can play both defense and forward, so he can be slotted virtually anywhere on the ice. This will come in handy when injuries inevitably present themselves.Back to Buffalo!

In 36 games this season with the Stars this season, he scored three goals and recorded four total points. He may not dominate the scoresheet, but he is a veteran who simply plays the game hard.
