Cam Atkinson Thankful to Leave the Columbus Blue Jackets
Cam Atkinson was traded this past weekend as he made his way from the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Philadelphia Flyers in a rare one for one deal involving Jakub Voracek. The Blue Jackets veteran was sick and tired of losing and wasn't interested in a rebuild, so he couldn't be happier getting out of Columbus.
Here's a statement from Atkinson about the deal:

The Blue Jackets continue to load up for the future and are listening to offers on most of their players, including Patrik Laine. As for the Flyers, they are going to look much different next season and should be considered a dark horse in the eastern conference. Enjoy the meaningful hockey and some cheesesteak Mr Atkinson.
