Carey Price Admits He's Struggling in the Stanley Cup Final
Montreal Canadiens netminder Carey Price has been absolute lights out since the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but unfortunately that hasn't been the case at all in the final against Tampa Bay.
Price spoke to the media after Game 3 and admitted he's not himself right now:
I can definitely play better. t's just not good enough so far. We don't have a choice. We've overcome adversity all season. Our backs are obviously against the wall, so we've got to start bringing our best
The first three rounds of the postseason Price stood on his head, posting a .934 save %. Unfortunately the Tampa Bay Lightning have his number and have scored 13 goals in 3 games, resulting in a .835 save %. The team is now facing elimination and it certainly feels like Tampa Bay is going to sweep away Price and the Canadiens and win their second straight Stanley Cup.
