Carolina Hurricanes Sign Another Goalie
The Carolina Hurricanes now have their second goaltender. The Hurricanes are signing Antii Raanta to a two-year contract. It will carry a $2 million cap hit.
Raanta was only able to play in 12 games this past season. In them, he had a 5-5-2 record, 3.36 goals against average and .905 save percentage. However, he had a very solid season in 2019-20, as he had a 15-14-3 record with a .921 save percentage. If he can replicate those totals in Carolina, he could form a strong tandem with Frederik Andersen.Raanta will come in at a $2M AAV in Carolina https://t.co/z4V9JEonCQ

Yet, at the end of the day, the Hurricanes' two new additions may not make up for the loss of Alex Nedeljkovic. We will see how this works out.
