Colorado Avalanche Draft Cale Makar’s Brother
The Colorado Avalanche are making things a family affair and Cale Makar is certainly here for it. The team not only signed the Norris trophy nominee to a massive contract extension over the weekend, the team drafted his younger brother Taylor in the 7th round.

The younger Makar went 220th overall, meanwhile the Cale went 4th in 2007. Does it really matter though? For bragging rights of course it does.
Taylor is a versatile forward who spent last season with the AJHL's Brooks Bandits and scored five goals and 14 assists in 16 games. Cale is from the same system and spent time with the Bandits in the past. Cale would go on to say his brother plays like a mix of Josh Anderson and the Tkachuk brothers and is a serious pest out there. The brothers should be agents for each other from the sounds of it.
