Dallas Stars Sign Veteran Center

The Dallas Stars have signed center Luke Glendening to a two-year, $3 million contract. It will carry a $1.5 million cap hit per season.

The Dallas Stars are bringing in a very effective bottom-six forward who is solid defensively. He also has been noted for his marvelous faceoff ability. In 54 games this season, the 32-year-old had six goals and 15 points. Although those are not the strongest of offensive totals, he is more known for his defensive play.

Overall, this is an underrated signing by the Stars. He may not be a superstar, but he is the type of depth forward that every team would love to have.
