Evander Kane Accused Of Betting On His NHL Games By Wife

San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane's wife, Anna Kane, has accused him of betting on his own NHL games. Earlier this year, he also notably filed for bankruptcy because of his gambling debts.

In response to this, the NHL announced that they will be conducting a full investigation on the allegations.

This type of allegation is monstrous and absolutely needs to be taken seriously. This is especially the case when looking at Kane's previous track record with gambling. If this ends up being proved as true, he will surely face a massive penalty and it could even lead to the completion of his career. Until then, though, we will have to wait and see what transpires. All hockey fans should be hoping that he hasn't actually done this. It would be horrible for the game.
