Jakub Voracek Finished with the Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers are going to look much different next season as long-time forward Jakub Voracek won't be back with the team. The two sides have mutually agreed to part ways and he's going to be left exposed to the Seattle Kraken expansion draft. Should he not be selected, a trade would then follow as option B.
Friedman in 33 Thoughts says the Flyers and Jakub Voracek have discussed a possible change. He has been told he will be left unprotected for the Seattle Kraken expansion draft. Perhaps Hakstol influences the Seattle brass to select him? If not they will look elsewhere.

The 31-year-old Voracek has three seasons left on his contract, paying him $8.25 million, which in a flat cap world is a massive hit. Last season he only scored nine times and recorded 43 points in 53 games so some can see why the team is looking to hit the refresh button.
The Flyers struggled last season and are expected to shake up their top-two lines and acquire a stud defenseman. Getting Voracek off the books is step one to the process. Teams who may have interest include a potential reunion with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Minnesota Wild and St Louis Blues.
