Mock Draft 4.0: Seattle Kraken Begin Franchise With Captain Gabriel Landeskog

The Seattle Kraken are going to need a leadership group in place for their inaugural season and there may be no one better in the NHL to start a franchise with than Gabriel Landeskog. With the Colorado Avalanche leaving him unprotected, the Kraken could select him on July 21 and begin to negotiate a contract with the unrestricted free agent. Given they have a boatload of money to spend, Landeskog would be the perfect type of player to lead their franchise.

Seattle Kraken Mock Draft 4.0:

This team would have some serious goaltending depth, Landeskog and Pat Maroon leading the leadership group and a very mobile defense. Some interesting combinations of players out there, but this one may take the cake.
