Nashville Predators Great Pekka Rinne Retires
The Nashville Predators have called a 'major press conference' for Tuesday as it's expected goaltender Pekka Rinne is going to announce his retirement.

Rinne didn't talk to much about hanging up his skate at the end of this past season, so this announcement comes at a little bit of a surprise. The 38-year-old netminder would leave the NHL as the most winningest Finnish goaltender in NHL history. He sits with 369 career wins in 683 games and won the Vezina trophy in 2018 after going 42-13-4 with a 2.31 GAA and a .927 save%, including 8 shutouts.
The Predators are going to have some big skates to fill in their crease if Rinne indeed calls it a career on Tuesday. Juuse Saros is a restricted free agent and the team is expected to be in the running for some free agent help this summer.
