One of Three Teams Trading for Rangers Forward Ryan Strome
The New York Rangers have changed a ton since the end of last season, be it on and off the ice. Turns out more moves are on the way as all signs are pointing to Ryan Strome being traded from the team.
Strome is reportedly heading to one of the Vegas Golden Knights, Seattle Kraken or Ottawa Senators according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. Some have discussed a Mark Giordano trade from the Kraken to the Rangers, but that has yet to materialize.
As for the Senators, they are trying to find some more stability behind Josh Norris down the middle, so Strome would certainly fill that void for them. The Rangers are interested in Connor Brown, but at this time doesn't sound like the Sens want to get rid of Brown just yet, as he's making huge strides with his game.
The Golden Knights on the other hand are trying to add a 1A or 1B center, so Strome could fill the latter for them. The team has a wide range of picks and prospects, but unfortunately the Rangers don't want to create bigger problems. Whatever they decide to do, expect to see Strome's replacement in New York be bigger, tougher and harder to play against as the Rangers are changing their culture this summer.
