Pittsburgh Penguins Re-Sign Key Forward
The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced they have re-signed forward Teddy Blueger to a two-year contract worth $2.2 million annually.
Blueger became a very important player for the Penguins last season and provided some stability to their bottom-six forward group. He posted a career high in points per game last season and his defensive game did not struggle because of it. He's an analytical darling when it comes to his defensive responsibility.

The only issue here is the expansion draft and there's a very good chance the Seattle Kraken select Blueger off the team's roster. While he may have signed he latest contract with the Penguins, it's the Kraken who could be paying him next season.
