Report: Montreal Canadiens Are Getting Young Forward Back
With the bad news surrounding Shea Weber, it is nice that a good thing is now happening for the Montreal Canadiens. According to Eric Engels, Marc Bergevin has stated that Jonathan Drouin is set to return to the team next season. He had taken a leave of absence in late April due to personal reasons.
It is wonderful that Drouin feels ready to return to hockey. His sudden departure this season was a huge shock, but it seems that he's ready to move on from the cause of it."We met with Jo, and Jo feels great. He's focused and he's ready to go."--Marc Bergevin says Jonathan Drouin will return to his team.

The Canadiens should be happy that they are getting him back, too. Even if it was a down year for the 26-year-old, he was still productive. In 44 games, he had two goals and 23 points. He also is just two years removed from a 53-point season, so he certainly has the potential to hit totals like that again.
Nonetheless, this is more of a win for Drouin personally. It'll be great to see him return to the ice next season.
