Rumor: Kings Want To Add Another Top-Six Winger
The Los Angeles Kings may want to bring in another top-six winger this off-season, according to Elliotte Friedman. The Kings already made a great trade earlier this month when they acquired Viktor Arvidsson from the Nashville Predators. Yet, that may just be the beginning of a very busy off-season for them.
The Kings do have money to work with, so they can be aggressive with free agents. It also is important to note that many of their most important players are already locked up, too. They specifically should be looking to upgrade at left wing, though. Thankfully, there are also a plethora of top-six options available through free agency, so hope is high that they can sign at least one of them. Some of these include Brandon Saad, Taylor Hall, Gabriel Landeskog and Mike Hoffman.
It is clear that the Kings are looking to move out of their rebuild stage. They have such a strong prospect pool and bringing in some veteran talent would certainly help them even more. It will be interesting to see who they end up striking a deal with this summer.
