Rumor: Vladimir Tarasenko to be Selected by Seattle Then Traded Immediately
The Seattle Kraken have lots going on with big names to consider for selection and also have other teams who are now reaching out about available players for side deals. Enter St Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko, and while the Kraken could insert him into their opening night top-line, turns out some teams may be willing to pay a hefty price for Seattle to flip him.

While Tarasenko has been under the knife a ton recently, word is he's healthy and ready for a fresh start next season. Last year with the Blues he only managed to score four times in 14 games, but as he's shown in the past, he's capable of 30 goals easily. He has formally requested a trade out of St Louis.
With two seasons left on his contract at $7.5 million per season, the Kraken could eat $1-2 million of his deal and that's going to drive up the asking price even more. There's no doubt about it, Tarasenko is headed to Seattle. How long he stays? That's anyone's guess at this point.
