Seattle Kraken Asking Price to Not Select Mark Giordano is INSANE!
The Seattle Kraken have a ton of trade leverage right now as other teams are hoping they don't select certain players off their roster and are willing to pay for the security. Well a few teams better to be willing to pay a king's ransom as the Kraken have reportedly named their price to the Calgary Flames to not select captain Mark Giordano.
Elliotte Friedman on SN960: thinks NYI want to keep Palmieri, price for SEA not to take Giordano is 1st and 3rd round pick, price for SEA not to take Jake Allen was 2nd and a prospect. COL and Grubauer aren't close. Landeskog feels COL didn't get serious fast enough.

That's right...Ron Francis wants a first and a third round pick to stay away from Giordano. Crazy high asking price for the Flames who may not be interested spending two picks on a 37-year-old defenseman who is in the final season of his contract.
One things for sure, the expansion draft is going to be unreal and so are all the trades that follow. It's also likely Giordano is heading to Seattle.
