Seattle Kraken Say No To Nashville Predators Two Big Centers
The Seattle Kraken are not going to be taking Matt Duchene or Ryan Johansen tonight at the Expansion Draft. Instead, they will be selecting Calle Jarnkrok, according to Chris Johnston.
Ultimately, this was the best move for Seattle to make when it came to the Predators. Both Duchene and Johansen are coming off of down years and each have $8 million cap hits. Jarnkrok, on the other hand, had a great season for his standards and is only set to make $2 million on the year.Hearing the #SeaKraken preserved more valuable cap space by passing on Ryan Johansen and Matt Duchene in Nashville.

Belief is they will select Calle Järnkrok instead.
In 49 games this season, the 29-year-old center had 13 goals and 28 total points. He has spent his entirety of his career with the Predators, too. In 508 total games with them, he had 94 goals and 211 points.
Overall, this is a quality pick by the Kraken.
