Taylor Hall Set to Re-Sign with the Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins were very impressed with what they saw from Taylor Hall last season after their trade with the Buffalo Sabres. So much so, they plan on re-signing the former Hart trophy winner and a multi-year deal is expected to be announced before the weekend.

While Hall only managed 19 points in 37 games last season in Buffalo, he found his scoring touch, recording 14 points in 16 games for the Bruins. He also kept it going during the Stanley Cup Playoffs as he chipped in with five points in 11 games.

Hall has made it clear it's not about the money anymore as he's well set up financially, earning over $52 million in career earnings before his 30th birthday. Guess you could say that's decent.

The Bruins are one of the only teams in the NHL who have their stars on very reasonable contracts, so with the likes of David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand making less than $6.7 million, expect Hall to coming in around $6 million per season. Other general managers are just chomping at the bit to offer him much more come July 28, but it appears they won't be given the chance to.
