There's An Update On Carey Price's Recovery Time
There's some promising news on the Carey Price injury saga. According to Marc Bergevin, he is now expected to recover in six to eight weeks. Therefore, he shouldn't miss anything significant time if all goes to plan. Before, it seemed probable that he was going to miss a huge chunk of the season.
Things are just getting better for the Montreal Canadiens when it comes to Price. It once seemed likely that the Seattle Kraken were going to take him in the Expansion Draft, but that did not come into fruition. Now, the Canadiens are going to be able keep Price and Jake Allen as their goalie tandem yet again this season. That definitely is a great thing for them.Marc Bergevin on Carey Price: Nothing alarming at the moment. He played all the mins in the playoffs and played very well. He had some bumps over the two months, but he's seeing doctors. We're not expecting anything major, but we'll see once they look closely. Perhaps 6-8 weeks.

Although Price had his struggles this regular season, he more than made up for it in the postseason. He carried the underdog Canadiens to the Stanley Cup Final with his impressive .924 save percentage. Without him in the net, they would not have had so much success in the playoffs this year.
The 33-year-old goalie has five years left on his contract, and it carries a $10.5 million cap hit. Thus, they need Price to rest up as much as possible this off-season. He will be a part of their team for the long-run, so his health is immensely important.
