Toronto Maple Leafs Sign Goaltender to 3-Year Deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have come to terms with free agent netminder Petr Mrazek on a three year deal that pays him $3.8 million per season.

The 29-year-old was one of the best goalies on the market and the Leafs get it done. Last season in Carolina, Mrazek was lights out when he played, appearing in 12 games and producing a 2.06 GAA and a .923 save %. He was among the league leaders in both categories.

The Leafs and Hurricanes essentially swapped free agents as Frederik Andersen signed a two year contract in Carolina. As for Mrazek, he joins Jack Campbell to give the Leafs one of the cheapest duos in the league at $5.65 million next season.
