Update on Frederik Andersen's Contract Status in Toronto
The Toronto Maple Leafs continue to evaluate their options for next season in net and one name that continues to be linked to the team is goaltender Frederik Andersen. While there's been dialogue over the course of the past few weeks, turns out the team has yet to make a formal offer.
Still time before Wednesday, but pending UFA netminder Frederik Andersen hasn't got an offer yet from the Leafs. Obviously several teams with goalie needs hoping he hits the market.@TSNHockey @TheAthletic

Andersen is coming off a bad season where he battled some lower body injuries, however his resume speaks for itself when it comes to regular season success. There's a ton of interest in the Danish netminder as he's been solid since arriving in Toronto and taking over the #1 job.
If it's not the Leafs, expect the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks or Colorado Avalanche to end up Andersen in their crease opening night.
