Vancouver Canucks Saying Goodbye To Young Forward
According to Rick Dhaliwal, the Seattle Kraken will be taking Kole Lind from the Vancouver Canucks at the Expansion Draft.
Lind was drafted by the Canucks in the second-round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut this season with the team, as he would appear in eight games, but would not record a point. However, he is still just 22-years-old and appears to have upside.Seattle is taking Kole Lind from the Canucks.

His 2019-20 season with the AHL's Utica Comets was pretty solid, as he would score 14 goals and compile 44 total points in 61 games. In eight games with the team this season, he scored five goals and had eight points. Although this year provided a small sample size, it is clear that Lind does have the ability to produce well offensively. It now just needs to translate over to the NHL level.
It is rough that the Canucks are losing a forward with good potential to their newest rival in Seattle. We will see if Lind can crack their lineup next season and make a difference.
