Video: Lightning Forward Alex Killorn Tells Seattle Kraken to Stay Away!

The Tampa Bay Lightning are in cap hell and left a long list of expensive forwards unprotected to the Seattle Kraken's expansion draft. Alex Killorn is one of the forwards available, but if you ask him, he has no interest playing in Seattle.

Killorn who is from the East Coast of Canada has won multiple Stanley Cups in Tampa and has become one of their glue forwards who always seems to make an impact at the perfect time. He's 31 with two seasons left on his contract, paying him $4.45 per season. While he holds trade protection, he doesn't have a no-movement clause, so Tampa was able to expose him. Last season Killorn recorded 33 points in 56 games and lit it up in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, tallying 17 points in 19 games.

Along with Killorn, the Lightning left Yanni Gourde, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat all exposed in hopes the Kraken take one of them off their hands to save them a few bucks. Some feel the Kraken will take defenseman and former first-rounder Cal Foote instead or Cup Winning Big Rig Pat Maroon. All will be answered on Wednesday when the expansion draft takes place.
