Chicago Blackhawks Re-Sign Young Forward

The Chicago Blackhawks have finished off their offseason, taking care of some internal business by signing young forward Alex Nylander to a one-year contract worth $874,125.

The one-time can't miss prospect is finding his game in Chicago and is preparing for a breakout season. There's been some sweeping changes in the windy city and the Blackhawks are a team that could easily be battling for a Stanley Cup next season.

Nylander missed all of last season with injury, and is coming off a campaign back in 2019-20 where he recorded 26 points in 65 games. He's fully healthy and ready to compete for a top-nine wing position in training camp next month.
