Details Revealed on Sharks Teammates Asking For Evander Kane to be Traded
Oh boy, this one is getting messy as details have surfaced regarding the San Jose Sharks and the disconnect amongst the players and management alike. Turns out several Sharks went to management and told them if Evander Kane is back on the team, they want no part of it.
Here's a few new pieces of info that's surfaced today on the matter as it sounds like the team is a mess and it all starts with Kane:
Kurz adds guys were going into GM Doug Wilson’s office all year long saying Kane had to go, all he’d say is, “All teams have locker-room issues.”

“‘#SJSharks ignored everything,’ said an agent who represents at least one player on the team. ‘Team turned a blind eye.’”

The Sharks continue to work the phones on a deal but at this point, he's too much of a distraction for other teams to take a gamble on. Kane was productive as ever last season, recording 22 goals and 49 points in 55 games. But with four seasons left at $7 million per, and with all the off ice distractions, the Sharks are in some tough waters with this one.
