Dillon Dubé Signs Extension With Calgary Flames
The Calgary Flames have signed Dillon Dubé to a three-year extension. It will have an average annual value of $2.3 million.
Dubé showed improvement this past season, as he scored 11 goals and recorded 22 points in 51 games. During the season before, he scored six goals and had 16 points in 45 games. He has the ability to produce decent offense and is a potential breakout candidate for the Flames this upcoming season. This is especially the case if he secures himself a larger role.
In 121 career games with Calgary, he has 18 goals, 25 assists and 43 points.
Overall, this is a good signing for the Flames. Dubé is still quite young and could blossom into a top-six forward later down the line. At a minimum, though, he will be a very effective third-liner.
