Florida Panthers: 2 Players Most Likely to Get Traded Next Season

The NHL offseason is underway and there's been a ton of movement so far this summer. Along with mega-contracts being handed out and an expansion draft in Seattle, there's been multiple trades that will have huge impacts on the 2021-22 NHL season. Trades will continue this summer and of course into next season, so we shift our focus to the next deal for each franchise.

Follow along as we highlight a couple of players from each team who are most likely to be traded next. Our last article looked at the New York Islanders and this time around we showcase the Florida Panthers.

2 Panthers Most Likely Getting Traded Next Season:

Sergei Bobrovsky: Make no mistake, if the Panthers weren't paying so much for Goalie Bob he would have been traded last season when Spencer Knight arrived, but with his contract it basically makes him untradeable. He's going to remain a Panther until the team ante's up and retains the maximum salary, which could happen over the next 18 months.

Frank Vatrano: The crafty winger is one of the team's pending free agents and could be on the outside looking in for a contract extension. Last season the 27-year-old tallied 18 goals in 56 games and if he slips off these numbers, look for the team to move him at the deadline for an asset, regardless of where the team stands in the playoff picture.
