Florida Panthers Officially Sign Sam Reinhart
Late last month, the Florida Panthers acquired forward Sam Reinhart from the Buffalo Sabres. Now, they have locked him up to a three-year contract. It will have an average annual value of $6.5 million.
Reinhart is coming off of a strong season with a bad Sabres team, as he scored 25 goals and recorded 40 points in 54 games. Now that he is joining a more talented team with the Panthers, it is quite possible that his offensive contributions will continue to go up. He will surely be playing in their top-six and on their power play, too.AAV $6.5M https://t.co/yvjH4bhzea

In 454 games with the Sabres, Reinhart scored 134 and recorded 295 points. Now, he will be looking to continue his offensive success in Florida.
This is a good signing for the Panthers. Reinhart was one year away from being eligible for unrestricted free agency, so getting him for multiple seasons is a real win at the end of the day. He is a significant upgrade to their forward group.
