Marc-Andre Fleury To Play Next Season
Marc-Andre Fleury will be playing for the Chicago Blackhawks this upcoming season. After finding out the Vegas Golden Knights traded him there through Twitter, he contemplated his future in the league. Yet, he's decided to come back and it's simply great news for not just the Blackhawks, but the entire NHL.
Fleury is coming off of an amazing season with the Golden Knights that saw him win both the Vezina Trophy and William M. Jennings Trophy. In 36 games, he sported a 26-10-0 record to go along with a 1.98 goals against average and .928 save percentage. This type of season shows that the 36-year-old still has plenty left in the tank. He has one year left on his current deal, and it carries a $7 million cap hit.Fleury informs CHI he will play https://t.co/thpscYRR3O

With Fleury officially joining them, the Blackhawks have made their team significantly stronger this off-season. They've not only traded for him, but also added Seth Jones and Tyler Johnson. Jonathan Toews also is expected to come back, so they should be able to at least compete for a playoff spot next season.
It will exciting to see Fleury back on the ice and with his new team this fall.
