Minnesota Wild Sign Veteran Defenseman
The Minnesota Wild have added some depth to their defense as they have signed veteran Jordie Benn to a one-year contract for $900,000.

Benn spent last season between the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets after a mid-season trade and put up 10 points in 39 games. Offense isn't Benn's game and he's more of a physical stay-at-home type who isn't afraid to muck it up in the dirty areas.
