Nashville Predators Re-Sign Eeli Tolvanen
The Nashville Predators have signed forward Eeli Tolvanen to a three-year, $4.35 million contract.
The Predators selected Tolvanen with the 30th overall pick of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. It took him a bit of time to cement his spot in the league, but he had a very solid rookie season this past year. In 40 games, he scored 11 goals and recorded 22 points. Given the fact that he is just 22 years old, he should continue to improve from here.⏰

In seven games over two previous seasons, he had a goal and an assist. Thus, he's taken a big step forward.
When seeing as how he has room for growth and the cap hit is very affordable, this looks like a complete steal for Nashville. It also is nice that it is for multiple seasons, rather than just for one. It will be hard to find many Predator fans who will complain about it.
