Since retiring from the NHL after the 2017-18 season, Sharp had worked for NBC Sports as a studio analyst. However, with the network no longer partnering with the NHL, it makes sense that he is starting a new career path.
Sharp of course is remembered most for his time with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was an integral part of each of their three Stanley Cup wins during the 2010s and is a fan favorite to many because of it. He will now bring his plethora of experience to the student athletes of the UVM.
In 939 games between the Philadelphia Flyers, Blackhawks and Dallas Stars, Sharp had 287 goals, 333 assists and 620 points.
