Rumor: Ducks Josh Manson Rejects Trade to Jets

The Jets have been trying to acquire a bruising right-handed defenseman for some time now and Manson would have been the perfect fit. The rugged d-man has one season left on his contract, paying him $4.1 million next season. Last season he appeared in 23 games, recording seven points.
It's unlikely Manson is going to re-sign in Anaheim and will be receiving a lucrative offer on the open market. That's if a team doesn't acquire him before hand and sign him to an extension before next summer.
Cross off Winnipeg, Manson doesn't want to go from winters in California to winters in Winnipeg and you can't really blame him for that.
