Seattle Kraken Expansion Draft Pick Heading To Switzerland
At the Expansion Draft, the Seattle Kraken selected forward John Quenneville from the Chicago Blackhawks. Yet, Seattle decided not to sign him to a contract. It is a bit weird that they did not, as they passed on defenseman Nikita Zadorov, who was traded to the Calgary Flames shortly after the draft, in the process. Alas, now the 25-year-old forward has signed a PTO contract with the ZSC Lions of the National League.
Quenneville was taken by the New Jersey Devils in the first-round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Since then, he has primarily spent his professional career in the AHL. He also has not suited up in an NHL game since the 2019-20 season. During that stint with the Blackhawks, he played nine total games and failed to record a point.ZSC Lions testen John Quenneville

Quenneville played a total of 42 games during his NHL career. In them, he scored two goals and had five points. It is unlikely that he will ever be able to find his way back to the league at this point.
