St Louis Blues: 2 Players Most Likely to Be Traded Next

The NHL offseason is underway and there's been a ton of movement so far this summer. Along with mega-contracts being handed out and an expansion draft in Seattle, there's been multiple trades that will have huge impacts on the 2021-22 NHL season. Trades will continue this summer and of course into next season, so we shift our focus to the next deal for each franchise.

Follow along as we highlight a couple of players from each team who are most likely to be traded next season. Last article we were in western Canada looking at two Vancouver Canucks, and today we head to feel the Blues in St Louis.

2 Blues Most Likely Getting Traded Next Season:

Vladimir Tarasenko: Seems like a summer deal is going to be tough as Tarasenko and the Blues have mutually agreed to part ways and haven't made any progress. At this point it's been the New York Rangers, Islanders, New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes who have been engaged with the Blues in serious discussions. No trade yet for the Russian sniper, but it's coming.

Colton Parayko: A pending free-agent and someone who may price himself off the team. Parayko will demand huge money on the open market and the Blues may not have rich enough blood to make it work. The 28-year-old could be one of the biggest names on the rental market come trade deadline, however if the Blues are right in the thick of things, they could decide to hang onto their defenseman and try and work out a contract next summer.
