The 23-year-old will be given a much longer leash this season as he's expected to be included in the team's top-six forward group to start 2021-22. Last season he appeared in 55 games for the Blues, collecting 14 goals and 21 assists and showed signs he needs to be given more ice-time.
So far in 99 career NHL games Kyrou has tallied 19 goals and 28 assists, and is on the up-and-up heading into next season. The Blues have lost some key pieces including Jaden Schwartz and are expected to be trading Vladimir Tarasenko in the coming days, so it sounds like nothing but opportunity for Kyrou moving forward. He and Robert Thomas are two players to look out for in St Louis next season as both young forwards are core players who are ready to break out for the Blues.
