Toronto Maple Leafs Set Fan Requirements for Next Season
The Toronto Maple Leafs are excited as ever to welcome back Leafs Nation to home games, but will only be opening the doors to fans who are able to show a negative COVID test or proof that they're fully vaccinated.
MLSE made the announcement on Tuesday and the same rules apply for any staff member working in the building.
As an organization that hosts more than four million fans per year, at hundreds of events in multiple venues, MLSE is proud to serve as a central gathering place in Toronto and recognizes its responsibility to provide attendees with a safe and secure environment
The Maple Leafs are now the second team in Canada to make these requirements as True North Sports and Entertaining, who own the Winnipeg Jets have also inputted the same protocols. Expect to see many more teams follow suit as the NHL is hopeful they can have a full season with full capacity in all arenas starting in October.
