Tuukka Rask Still Wants To Play With Boston Bruins

Free agent Tuukka Rask has once again stated that he hopes to return to the Boston Bruins once he recovers from the torn labrum in his hip, according to Logan Mullen of NESN.

Rask also stated that he is not looking for an expensive contract. That does help his chances of him returning, as the Bruins only have a little over $1 million of cap space, according to Cap Friendly

Going into next season, the Bruins have recently signed Linus Ullmark and rookie Jeremy Swayman as their tandem. Therefore, a Rask signing may not be a real necessity, but it surely wouldn't be a bad thing. When healthy, he is one of the top goaltenders in the entire league.

Rask has spent the entirety of his 14-year NHL career with the Bruins. With them, he has a 306-163-66 record, .921 SV% and 2.27 GAA in 560 games. This past season was also another good one for the veteran, as he had a 15-5-2 record and .913 SV%.

We will have to wait and see if Rask once again is back in Boston next season.
